Marc Gprdon, Founding Member of Levert

 

 Marc Gordon, is an award winning, multi-platinum songwriter and co-founder of the group ‘LeVert’, that consisted of Gerald and Sean Levert (sons of Eddie Levert of the O’Jays). The group LeVert became an overnight success, which launched his career as a successful singer, songwriter and producer from 1985 – present.

~Produced and co-wrote most of the songs for LeVert which included seven albums/cds, five scoring gold/platinum success and several #1 singles including #1 singles on the “New Jack City” & “Coming to America” sound tracks. Memorable hits of LeVert:

~Formed  LEVERT II with Sean Levert after the untimely death of Gerald Levert, including R&B singer Blaq Rose. The trio started recorded their CD – “Dedication” but before it’s completion on March 30 2008, group member Sean Levert passed. “Dedication” has several singles that continues to carry the LeVert sound:
